Margham Desert, Dubai: Hot air balloon in bucket list. Checked. This is a flight of a lifetime, soaring high above in the sky watching the burnished orange sun awaken lazily. If you’re lucky like we were, you spot wildlife like camels moving slow kicking up the golden sand in the desert. Or gazelles kicking up a trail of dust as they dart across the uneven terrain. It’s a treacherous 3 am wake but so worth it. The ride was gentle, all precautions met as our pilot Sergei was so experienced. The only scare was the landing which can get bumpy and the basket tilts. We had it pretty good and seriously, everyone should do this once in their lifetimes. Adnan and Natascha our guides and coordinators were really sweet. #eatstylishtravelstylish
